Common questions
What is a contact lens consultation?
Sometimes called a contact lens check-up or aftercare appointment, it's for people who already wear contact lenses. It's a simple way to make sure your lenses are still comfortable, your eyes are healthy, and everything is working as it should. It's also a good opportunity to chat about how you're getting on with your lenses, whether anything feels different, your lifestyle has changed, or you just want some advice.
How much does a contact lens consultation cost?
A contact lens consultation costs £60. If you're part of our Contact Lens Rewards Plan or Contact Lens Care Plan, your consultation is included as part of your plan, at no extra cost.
How often should I have one?
Regular consultations keep your eyes healthy and your lenses working their best. How often you'll need one depends on your clinician's advice, but most people are seen every 1 to 2 years.
Do I need to wear my lenses to the appointment?
Yes, please come wearing them, as we check your vision with your lenses in. You'll be asked to take them out during the consultation, so remember to bring your glasses, and a contact lens case if you wear reusable lenses.
Can I try a different type of contact lens?
If you'd like to explore other options, we'll be happy to help. Whether your routine has changed or you just want something more comfortable, we can talk you through the best contact lenses for your lifestyle.
